Carlos Queiroz has unveiled the squad that will represent Iran at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
The Portuguese coach, who returned to the post just last month, has relied on a group of trusted players, with Bayer Leverkusen forward Sardar Azmoun included despite doubts over his fitness.

The Iranians begin their Qatar 2022 campaign against England on 21 November before taking on Wales and USA, and are hoping to qualify for the knockout stage for the first time in their history.
